Woven alpaca scarf

This took me a while but is very pretty. It is a double  warp with a double weft.

A rug for my daughter

So of course dd 1 saw my rug and immediately asked for one for herself. Her birthday is upon us so I made her a woven rug for under her spinning wheel so it doesn't walk away on her when she spins her alpaca fibers.

Rug complete

From rags to riches. This went together very fast. I enjoyed doing it and I now have an extremely small dent in my fabric stash. I'd need to make about 100 to make a dent my husband would notice. I will definitely be making more of these!

Weaving a rug from scrapes

I have been weaving for a little over month now mostly scarves. But today I tried my hand a scrap rug

I hope to make it most blue and brown

He needed an eye

Nothing but scraps

Reversed applique.  100% scraps.  Next time I will use a freezer  paper foundation.  It was hard ironing over the edges without it.
